Welcome to the Pippins Nursery website.
Firstly, a little bit about us…
Pippins Nursery serves Hanbury (Worcestershire) and its surrounding areas and is managed by a voluntary committee consisting of parents and carers of children at the nursery.
It is classified as a Sessional Daycare Nursery by Ofsted, reflecting that it isn’t available every day.
The nursery opened in 1992 and operates from two rooms in Hanbury village hall, located just off the Hanbury Road (B4091) between Bromsgrove and its junction with Saltway (B4090) from Droitwich. The entrance to the nursery is via the car park just inside Pumphouse Lane.
All children share access to a secure, enclosed outdoor play area in this idyllic setting.
Learning is further aided by the availability of fields and walks to ensure children receive a healthy and stimulating start to their education.
We can accommodate up to a maximum of 26 children aged 2 years up to the point of starting school at any one session.
To make sure we can give every child the best level of attention and maximise their learning and enjoyment whilst at the nursery, we have to manage the numbers that can attend each session. We do this by considering the overall age profile of the children attending each session and the staffing ratio.
Pippins Nursery is a Registered Charity Number: 1081524.
