Our children are given the chance to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through learning experiences in the local woodland and natural environment. They can learn about things through a whole range of different ways, touch – taste – smell – sound as well as intellectually, emotionally and physically.
The children enjoyed an outdoors learning session recently whilst making use of the natural environment around them. Pictured are the children walking to the Jinney Ring and having a wonderful time; whilst splashing in the puddles and running across the fields. Other activities included meeting the horses, climbing over stiles, building a den, playing hide and seek, hunting for big red hearts hidden in the woods and feeding the ducks with bird seeds.
After all the fun they sat around the shelter together with biscuits and hot chocolate.
All children participated enthusiastically!
